I have been involved with many aspects of quilting over the years: pattern designer, fabric designer for Michael Miller Fabrics, Creative Grids ruler designer, book author, and have collaborated with many fabrics companies and publications. My favorite part in all this is pattern design.

With degrees in engineering, I am drawn to the geometry of quilt design, and the problem-solving part of my brain is always looking for an easier, less complicated way of making quilts. You'll find I often use and recommend tools (like Creative Grids rulers) as they simplify the construction of units typically considered difficult. And the whole point of quilting is to have fun!
